So this week has all been about implementing a rewards type system into the website. By signing up via email, as you guys purchase and do various other things you can accrue points which go towards us giving a little bit of love back your way in the form of discounts or free items.
I am not sure if I am 100% happy with the current system and I may switch it out at some point for one that is more robust in it's options, etc, but don't worry, I will write down names and figures before doing it and implimenting your current points into the new system.
Secondly, I want to call it something a bit more personal than simply "rewards points". I dunno, it seems a bit generic and comes across as a bit of a carrot on a stick program to lead you around by the nose for a head pat when it is more a case of us wanting to return the love and support you show us. I am thinking something along the lines of "Support Gifts" or such because that's more in line with the spirit of it, mutually supporting each other and showing appreciation for our amazing customers.
